The Square One District is Canada’s largest mix use development in history and will be located in the heart of downtown Mississauga. The Square One District condos will be composed of several multi-phase towers which are estimated to be a total of 37 new buildings. The Square One District condos development will cover approximately 130 acres with the first two towers to be constructed at the South East corner of Rathburn Rd W and Confederation Pkwy. The goal of the project is to bring higher density living and expand on the growing public transportation infrastructure being built in the Square One area. The influx of available inventory will mean there will be approximately 35,000 new residents in the area, providing positive growth for all of the local businesses. The Square One District condos will further add to the true, urban design of the area, moving Mississauga towards becoming an urban core.
Running down the central core of the Square One District project will be what’s known as The Strand. This architectural feature will provide public spaces and connection points to public transit, offering a pedestrian friendly area that will connect the Square One District condos community.
